Matt Hedman, President of The Perfect Workout™ in San Diego, CA, came by Efficient Exercise™ in Austin yesterday for a visit and a chance to go through a workout using the CZT machines. He was thoroughly impressed and I wanted to show a quick video of him going through some negative only chest press on the horizontal CZT machine.

Cool. But why is he sitting so high in the machine? The main function of the pec is humeral adduction. This looks more like a triceps press to me.
Hi Fred,
You are correct. Several factors going on here:
1) This machine being a prototype has no adjustments
2) Matt has an incredibly long torso so he skews the averages here on the height of the handle weld
3) We have since made the handles higher on a newer version of this machine to try and correct that issue
4) In production models in supervised settings like physical therapy, personal training, etc. we will have the option of having the lower row handles, the higher press handles, and even horizontal handles if so desired.
I hope that helps and hope you are doing well Fred.
Take care,
Mark
